The Story of The Canvas Initiative
The Canvas Initiative was founded during the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Kenya. In that year,2020,unemployment rates increased, suicide rates amongst the youth was constantly on the rise and the indulgence in drugs amongst the youth became rampant. This business was an initiative to create a platform for the youth to earn,interact with fellow artists and share their talents.
We hope to expand in the near future to involve in art therapy,online classes and carry out exhibitions for visual artists and poets.
